Engagement Ring Mountings and Semi-Mounts
Mountings, also called semi-mounts, are engagement ring settings sold without a centre stone. They are the right starting point if you already own a diamond, are inheriting a stone, or want to choose the setting and the stone independently.
How a mounting works
Each mounting is built to hold a specific centre stone size and shape. Many can be adjusted within a small range, and some can be modified more substantially. Side stones, metal and finish are already set, so the only remaining decision is the centre.
Pairing a stone
If you are supplying your own diamond, bring it in or send us the certificate and we will confirm the fit before any work begins. If you need a centre stone, we can source natural or lab grown diamonds in the exact specification you want and set it for you.
