Design Your Own Engagement Ring Online, Then Let a Jeweler Make It Real
You have been saving ring photos for months. Nothing in the display cases looks quite like the one in your head. Here is the shortcut.
Our ring builder lets you design your engagement ring online in about two minutes, from your couch, for free. Then a real jeweler in Orange, Connecticut takes it from there, and nothing is ordered until you have spoken to us.
Who the ring builder is for

It is for the person with forty screenshots and no clear answer. For the couple who wants to design it together but cannot get to the store on a weekday. For the one planning a surprise who needs to get the idea out of their head and in front of a jeweler without a single awkward conversation at a counter.
It is also for anyone who has walked into a store and felt rushed. The builder lets you think at your own pace, change your mind as often as you like, and only talk to us once you know what you want.
How it works, step by step

Start with what you already have
Upload a photo of a ring you love, from Pinterest, Instagram, a friend's hand, anywhere. If you do not have one, skip it and describe the ring in your own words instead. Either way works.
Choose the center stone
Natural diamond or lab grown, then the size and the shape: round, oval, emerald, pear, cushion and more. Not sure which? Pick the one closest to what you have in mind. Nothing here is final.
Pick the setting and the metal
Solitaire, halo, hidden halo, three stone, pavé. Then the metal, the band width and how high the stone sits. These are the choices that change how the ring feels on the hand every day, so it is worth a moment.
Add the details only you know
A hidden detail under the stone, an engraving, a nod to something that matters to the two of you. Write it the way you would say it to us across the counter.
Size, budget and timing
Ring size if you know it, a budget range, and when you need it. The budget range is not a price tag. It tells our designer where to aim so the concept you get back is one you can actually say yes to.
Review and send
You see your design come together, check everything, and request your quote. That is it. You are done.
What happens after you hit send

Your request goes straight to our design team in Orange, not to a call center and not to a sales script. A designer looks at what you built and reaches out to talk it through: the stone options that fit your budget, what the ring will cost to make, and how long it will take.
From there, you decide. You can come in to see stones side by side under magnification, which is the one thing a screen will never do for you. Or you can say thanks and walk away. Nothing is ordered and nothing is charged until you have spoken to us and said yes.
Curious what happens if you go ahead? Our custom design page walks through the full process, from the 3D design to the final fitting.
Five tips for a better first design

- Use the clearest photo you have. A sharp shot of the ring from the side and the top tells us far more than a blurry screenshot.
- Say what you love about it. Often it is one thing, the thin band or the way the stone sits low. Tell us which thing, and we can build around it.
- Give an honest budget range. It does not lock you in. It just keeps the design realistic so there are no surprises later.
- Mention your date. If there is a proposal or a wedding on the calendar, say so. Timing shapes which options make sense.
- Do not worry about the ring size. If you do not know it, leave it. Most designs are easy to size, and we can help you find out discreetly.
Questions people ask before they start

Is it really free?
Yes. Designing in the builder costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You only pay anything if you decide to go ahead with the ring.
Does the builder show me a price?
Not automatically. You choose a budget range, and our designer comes back to you with real pricing for your design. A custom ring depends on the exact stone, and we would rather give you an honest number than an estimate.
Natural or lab grown, which should I pick?
Both are real diamonds and both are available. The difference is mostly in price and resale value. If you are torn, pick either one and we will walk you through it when we talk.
I am planning a surprise. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Use the photos on their Pinterest board or the ring they keep pointing at, and we keep everything between us.
Can we design it together?
Absolutely. Plenty of couples fill it in side by side, then come in together to see the stones.
Do I have to live near Orange?
No. We work with couples across Connecticut, from New Haven and Milford to the shoreline, and the builder means most of the early work can happen from home. See our custom engagement rings page for more.
